Ever since our daughter was born in June 2022, our little neighborhood has experienced a baby boom! We are so lucky to be in this neighborhood that is experiencing a turnover with lots of new, young families moving in, and plenty of little ones for our children to grow up around. Now it’s walks, play dates, cookouts, trick or treating. Later it will be bus rides, school parties, dances. We continuously feel grateful that we are able to be in this season of life with some incredible families and little ones.
In 2023 we got all of the babies together and took a group photo right in the middle of our sun-dappled street covered in autumn leaves.
We did it again this year, and now it’s officially a tradition. We were missing a few babies this year, and we added a few more over the past 12 months but, I absolutely love this little series of photos!
It is wild to see how much they’ve all grown over the past year, and how they’ve come into their personalities. We love watching the kids run up to each other on the street, shrieking each other’s names, and stopping to play. I can’t wait to see how their friendships develop as they grow! I’m so happy that each of our neighborhood families wanted to be a part of this new tradition. It feels so wonderful to watch these little ones grow up!
